Where elegance and eloquence meet the filthy underbelly of a Surf / Blues-Rock inspired bar brawl is the kinda place you might find Australian artist Cameron Hassard. Beautiful storytelling via the smoky voice of its versatile narrator, debut EP Reconcile was recorded, arranged, mixed and mastered in a day and a half in 2017.
While Reconcile was a more ballad-laden body of work that gave us goosebumps with it's soulful saxophones and vocal delivery, 2020's forthcoming follow-up Rings is pumped full of dirt, leaving a trail of Molotov fires signalling the way through heavy bass grooves, apocalyptic guitars and Morricone-esque musical interludes.
Rings is due for release in June 2020 via Berlin's The Famous Gold Watch Records.
